Well, I don't know why I am doing this, but I guess I just felt like talking to people, and hopefully meeting them as well. I was born in Paris, of a Spanish mother and of a French father, and I have been living in England, for far too long. I was born in October 1961. Age, to me, is just a number, as it is your experiences in life that make you who you are. You could be 17 years old and be more mature than a 30 year old. Even though, I am only 38 years old physically, I feel as if I am 78 years old spiritually. I can understand and empathise with people who have been through different, traumatic, hurtful experiences, as I have led a very turbulent and full life which a lot of people would not want to experience. The only reason that I am still here is due to the fact that I have always kept my dignity, my self-respect, and my strength of mind and willpower have helped me along... I believe that Honesty, Sincerity, Communication at any level, Trust, Respect. These are the key words for a strong relationship, whether friendship or more. If the foundation of a house is not strong enough, it will eventually collapse... If I manage to get this thing working you will be able to see what I look like. Apart from having a few more wrinkles and a few more pounds on, I still look the same. Let's be honest, even though I know that your inner beauty and inner spirit are what matter the most, unless there is a chemical reaction and a physical attraction, the relationship will not go any further than friendship... I am fed up with people pretending to be something that they are not, instead of being themselves. It takes a lot of courage and strength to be able to soulsearch oneself, and unless you do that, you will never be able to be true to yourself. In order to be a good liar, you need to have a very good memory, and eventually you will be found out because you will slip up. I believe that unless you know yourself well enough, and you know your strengths and weaknesses, once again, you will never be true to yourself, and your soul will never grow, and will never learn. Soulsearching is being able to look at yourself in the mirror, and being honest with yourself, and that is why so many people put on facades, because they are afraid of being themselves or have not got the courage to change the things that need changing. I am looking for people who are honest, straight forward, who can communicate at any level, who can show their emotions no matter which mood they are in. If you are going to bullshit me, or if you are going to try and impress me, it is not going to work, as I do not get impressed by anything or anybody. Only serious people and sincere people can reply. I also have a very passionate temper which does not really go with the english temperament, which I find extremely reserved, hypocritical and cold. Hey! before you have a go at me, I know that there are exceptions, like everything else in life. :) Being in love to me can nearly compare to the love that you have for your children. It requires honesty, communication, respect, trust, paying attention, listening, which is different to hearing, being there for the person whether it rains or shines, affection, tolerance, compassion, patience, compromise and sometimes sacrifice... I love swimming in the ocean, particular at night, when everything is still, it is a beautiful and very spiritual experience. One of my passions is Dancing to any kind of music, but especially, R&B, Soul, Funk and some Garage depending on my mood. Apart from that, I enjoy what most people enjoy doing. Languages are a part of my life, and also part of my profession. I like writing and I sometimes write poetry. I also like reading books from fiction, to romance, to thrillers, psychological thrillers, and others... If you are interested in writing to me, you can do so in English, French or Spanish.
